What others say about Susan:

"It was a pleasure to meet you Saturday at the San Fernando Valley Counseling Center.  I just wanted you to know that everyone who turned in an evaluation rated your program 'excellent' in all categories.  I think that's a first.  Thank you so much."  Elise Kaplan, MSW

I just wanted to thank you again for your very moving and meaningful

presentation today at the San Fernando Valley Counseling Center .  I

was touched by your words as a human being. I also learned a lot as a

therapist. I think you are doing amazing, wonderful work. Thank you

so much for what you are bringing into the world."  Jackie Castro, MA, MFT

"Thank you for your excellent workshop and presentation at our 2007 International Chaplains Conference in San Francisco.  The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive in every aspect.  Chaplains and hospice caregivers alike were moved and learned so much about how to support parents, families and others impacted by the death of child through your professional and well-organized presentations.  There isn't anything else close to what you and griefHaven offer.  The follow-up care has been sorely lacking in our industry, and now we have something we can give to those so desperately in need.  Your drive, motivation and passion to continually seek gifts in the experience of grief continues to alter in positive ways how I can assist people with defining hope.  You are a blessing!!!!!  Thanks for letting me be a small part of how you are changing the lives of many!!! Rev. Pam Washburn, Director of Spiritual Care, Cottage Hospital, Santa Barbara , CA

Dear Susan,

I apologize for being so slow to send you the check for the CD’s. This has been a busy week. You made an excellent presentation last Saturday. This is a much needed subject. I commented to Carol earlier that I had never heard a CEU on this subject and she agreed with me. Excellent work!!!!

My plan is to present the video to church staff that work with bereaved parents. At one time we had a couple that last both young children to a rare disease. That was extremely sad.

Again, I commend you for the fine work you are doing and my heart goes out to you on the very sad loss of your daughter.

Take Care,
